Support treatment of serious illness for Nguyen Van Em in Dong Hoa

Representatives of the Provincial Red Cross Society recently visited and supported 10 million VND for Nguyen Van Em, 19 years old in Hoa Tam commune (Dong Hoa town), from the Thien Tam Fund of Vingroup Corporation.

Due to his family's financial difficulties, Nguyen Van Em dropped out of school and worked as a construction worker to help support his family. At the end of March 2025, Nguyen Van Em was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia and is undergoing chemotherapy according to the hospital's regimen at a cost of about 30 million VND/session.

It is known that previously, the Provincial Red Cross also supported 10 million VND for Huynh Thi Hong, Hoa Xuan Tay ward (Dong Hoa town) who was paralyzed due to a traffic accident.
