Investment promotion activities have been implemented regularly, helping to expand and increase the value of foreign investment flows. From 2021 to June 2024, the province attracted over 400 new private investment projects and more than 90 foreign direct investment projects. Several production and business sectors, including electronics and processing and manufacturing industries, have seen significant innovation, adopting modern technology, leading to more efficient production, enhanced competitiveness of goods, and contributions to exports.
At the same time, the province is implementing solutions to remove difficulties and obstacles in developing raw material sources, helping businesses meet rules of origin, and better utilize the opportunities brought about by trade agreements. The Department of Industry and Trade has also reviewed and assessed businesses producing and trading in fields related to free trade agreements, proposing solutions to support and ensure effective integration.

With the support of the province, most businesses proactively seek orders and source goods; diversify export markets and products, contributing to increasing the value of import and export turnover. Acting as a "bridge" between businesses and state management agencies, business associations and entrepreneurs play a crucial role in promptly identifying and addressing the difficulties and obstacles faced by the business community. Simultaneously, they connect members, support each other in production, build corporate culture, enhance production capacity and product quality, and meet standards and regulations for each market segment.
Mr. Nguyen Minh Tuan, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association, stated: “Economic integration encourages businesses to continuously improve production technology and enhance competitiveness to meet higher value-added stages in the domestic and global supply and distribution chains. Provincial authorities are working alongside businesses to overcome difficulties, accelerate administrative procedure reforms, provide legal advice and support, and promptly implement preferential tax and credit policies… creating favorable conditions for entrepreneurs and businesses to develop and integrate.”
To ensure effective international economic integration in the province and promote socio-economic development, relevant agencies and localities should continue to diversify activities in disseminating information about international economic integration and guiding the implementation of free trade agreements; and strengthen communication about investment activities, the investment environment, and mechanisms and policies related to attracting foreign investment.
Develop and implement action programs, plans, and projects on international economic integration, including trade promotion, e-commerce development, export market expansion, and enhanced trade defense capabilities, ensuring they are appropriate to the province's conditions. Continue to improve the investment and business environment, enhance competitiveness, implement trade promotion, investment promotion, tourism , and brand building programs; strengthen digital transformation and e-commerce development to help businesses improve their transaction capabilities, find and expand markets.
