Support for heart surgery for 37 children.

- From the beginning of 2026 until now, the Quang Ngai Provincial Children's Protection Fund has coordinated with various units and hospitals to organize 4 screening sessions for congenital heart defects for nearly 10,000 children in the province. It has also supported 37 children undergoing congenital heart surgery with a total cost of over 2 billion VND.

Screening for congenital heart disease in children.

Through four screening rounds, doctors discovered 123 cases of congenital heart disease. Of these, 85 children were recommended for surgery, and 38 were advised to follow up with regular health check-ups.

The Provincial Children's Protection Fund has supported the surgery of 37 children with congenital heart defects, with a total cost of over 2 billion VND.

During the 2026 Children's Action Month, the Provincial Children's Protection Fund will continue to coordinate with health units to organize screening for congenital heart defects in children in localities; at the same time, it will mobilize social resources to support treatment costs for those with the disease, contributing to providing opportunities for healthy lives for disadvantaged children in the province.
