Support to build new and repair more than 7,000 houses for poor households

QTO - In order to arouse and mobilize the joint efforts of all levels, sectors, localities and the entire political system, especially to encourage the initiative and promote the internal strength of localities, bases, communities and people in implementing policies and strategies on poverty reduction and for the poor, the Prime Minister launched the emulation movement "The whole country joins hands for the poor - No one is left behind".

Responding to the emulation movement and the call of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, in recent times, the Front at all levels in the province has had many practical activities, arousing the spirit of solidarity "the healthy leaves cover the torn leaves" of the nation to create resources to help and care for the poor, contributing to the effective implementation of social security policies and the goal of sustainable poverty reduction of the province. The work of mobilizing the "For the Poor" Fund and implementing social security programs, disaster relief, disease prevention, support for the disadvantaged... continues to be widely implemented by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at all levels, socio- political organizations and member organizations, with many creative, practical and effective ways.

From 2024 to now, the "For the Poor" Fund at all levels in the province has mobilized more than 408 billion VND. From this fund, the whole province has supported the construction and repair of 7,056 houses for poor households and households in difficult circumstances, with a total cost of nearly 299 billion VND; at the same time, implementing many other practical forms of support with a total value of 25.5 billion VND. The activities have contributed to spreading the spirit of solidarity and "mutual love" in the community, promptly supporting people to overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives; at the same time, demonstrating the responsible and affectionate cooperation of the whole society, contributing to the goal of leaving no one behind on the journey of sustainable development.
