On the afternoon of July 15th in Hanoi, the press conference announcing the Vietnam Disability Fashion Show 2025 officially took place, introducing two ambassadors: Miss Vietnam 2024 Ha Truc Linh and inspirational speaker Nguyen Son Lam. The event marks an inspiring launch for a fashion platform rich in humanistic values, celebrating the resilience and limitless beauty of the Vietnamese community with disabilities.

Taking on the role of ambassador for a community program for the first time, Ha Truc Linh impressed not only with her beauty queen title but also with her sincerity, approachability, and open-minded attitude in her speech.
"I am very excited to receive the invitation to participate in the program and extremely honored to be standing here as an ambassador – someone who inspires the disabled community. To be here today, I myself have gone through a long process of learning and training. I am a girl who once had many shortcomings, and I believe that none of us are perfect. The important thing is that we always strive to develop, constantly learning to become better every day," Truc Linh shared.
She also expressed admiration for the strong spirit of the disabled community – quiet but resilient individuals who constantly strive to improve themselves and redefine the standards of beauty through their own will to live.

Accompanying her as an ambassador is speaker Nguyen Son Lam, known for his achievement of climbing Fansipan peak despite being only 83cm tall. A symbol of perseverance and aspiration, Son Lam has inspired millions over the years through his charitable activities, education , and social media. He is likened to a "volcano" that ignites faith and the will to overcome challenges, not only within the disabled community but also in society at large.
The Vietnam Disability Fashion Show 2025, themed "The Shape of Will ," will take place on August 4, 2025, at the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum, promising to create an iconic fashion stage for inclusion and creativity. The show will bring together 54 models with disabilities – representing the 54 ethnic groups of Vietnam – as a vibrant symphony of overcoming adversity and showcasing the diverse beauty of the Vietnamese people.
One of the highlights of the program is the launch of the community project "Kindness Wardrobe" with 3 main activities: Kindness Wardrobe (building clothing closets at vocational training centers, disability associations, and schools); Kindness Fabric Donation (collecting and recycling leftover fabric from garment factories and businesses); Kindness Design ( inviting designers and the community to create clothing suitable for the physical condition and desires of people with disabilities).
