To conclude a year full of significant achievements, Hoa Minzy decided to go all-in with her first-ever fan concert, with an estimated 8,000 attendees.

In terms of personnel, the project can be considered to have assembled one of the most renowned teams in the market today, from director Dinh Ha Uyen Thu, lighting expert Long Kenji - the people behind "Brother Overcoming a Thousand Thorns ," to the Hoai Sa band and the Cadillac backing vocal group… All of this clearly shows the female artist's willingness to invest heavily in this special milestone.

Taking its name from Hoa Minzy's biggest hit, " Bac Bling ," the concert was structured with diverse musical elements, blending familiar songs with new, unreleased compositions. The concert was divided into several chapters, each with its own distinct style, ranging from ballads and contemporary folk to a series of energetic EDM performances.

Hòa Minzy also showed her willingness to take risks by deciding to sing live throughout the entire concert, including segments requiring stage performances and choreography. While this choice sometimes resulted in less-than-perfect performances, it was clearly a commendable decision, contributing to a more authentic musical experience for the audience.

Bac Bling opened with a mashup of "Turn on the Love" and "The Little Mermaid ," combined with stage performance and lighting effects. The intro created a fairytale atmosphere, thanks to the magical stage design that has become the trademark of the duo Dinh Ha Uyen Thu and Long Kenji. In addition, the music, with its bass house foundation blended with airy, fresh sounds, also contributed to shaping the atmosphere of the opening.

Immediately afterwards, the ballad section opened with "After the Smiling Eyes" - a new rock ballad. Hoa Minzy started with gentle lyrics, then the tempo increased with an R&B-influenced melody from Rhyder, a familiar structure of many popular ballads recently. This was followed by a series of songs including "Leaving" and "Don't Listen to Sad Music When You're Heartbroken ".

In this section, Hoài Sa's band delivered arrangements rich in drama and emotion, demanding considerable skill from Hòa Minzy. For most of the performance, the singer delivered a stable and polished performance. However, singing live on a large outdoor stage, with a string section and a large band, is a challenge for any artist. Hòa Minzy occasionally ran out of breath during some climactic moments or lacked clarity in her enunciation. However, the experienced backing vocalists provided effective support, contributing to the overall perfection of the performance.

While this isn't a groundbreaking approach, Masew and Mew Amazing still manage to "reinterpret" it to create a unique and enjoyable listening experience. Hoa Minzy's vocals and delivery also find a balance within the overall production.

In the final act, with its vibrant dance and EDM atmosphere, Hoa Minzy presented a different image. She appeared in bolder attire, actively shifting her focus to energizing the stage rather than showcasing her vocal technique. The concert was continuously heightened by unique and quirky drops from Mew Amazing. The female singer did a great job of keeping the energy high as the show drew to a close.

Meanwhile, the 3D performance in "Thi Mau ," or the intro to "Can't Be Together Forever, " recreating a royal ceremony, are meticulously crafted, showing serious investment in both concept and staging. Notably, Hoa Minzy's unprotected rope swinging performance makes a strong impression due to its daring nature.

The two most heavily invested performances of the concert were the catwalk featuring a lineup of famous beauty queens and the "Bac Bling" segment. The beauty queens appeared simultaneously on stage in the spirit of a fashion show, creating a visual impact and delivering many surprises. Meanwhile, "Bac Bling" was reserved for the final segment as a grand finale, with a heightened festive atmosphere through lion dances, traditional dances, and the participation of hundreds of children. A minor drawback was that after the catwalk performance, the beauty queens continued to perform the song "What Should I Eat?" , making the overall concept feel somewhat disjointed.

In return, this concert featured a high-quality lineup of guest performers, each bringing their own unique style, effectively complementing the main act. Erik and Duc Phuc livened up the atmosphere with energetic EDM performances. Quoc Thien, besides his sweet collaboration with Hoa Minzy in a wedding-themed performance, also showcased his high-level vocal skills through a solo act. Meanwhile, Rhyder brought a youthful energy to the show with a high-energy pop song.

However, the program was dragged out by too many interactive segments, in which both the conversations and the games lacked sufficient appeal, causing the pace of the show to slow down and the atmosphere on stage to become subdued at times.

Overall, Bac Bling still shows Hoa Minzy's efforts to assert her personal identity on the big stage. Although there are still some limitations, considering the audience's reaction and the overall performance level, this can be considered a relatively successful concert, thereby creating a favorable foundation for Hoa Minzy to pursue larger-scale projects in the future, as she has shared her ambitions.
