After the success of a series of programs: “New Year Concert”, “Autumn Concert”, “Winter Concert”, this July, Hanoi Radio and Television continues to bring the capital's audience into a fresh, vibrant musical space like the spirit of a vibrant, bustling summer through familiar works, but in a new and modern symphonic style.
As a final piece of the Hanoi Concert series themed on four seasons, marking the complete connection between emotions and chamber art, “Summer Concert 2025” is broadcast live on channels H1, H2 (UHD standard), FM96 radio, HANOI ON application, website hanoionline.vn and social media channels of Hanoi Radio and Television Station.

Carrying the message “New energy entering a new era”, the program not only opens a youthful and modern approach to Vietnamese chamber music, but also reflects the country's spirit of integration in the period of development.
This is also a testament to the Party and State's major policy on cultural development: Internationalizing Vietnamese identity, nationalizing the quintessence of humanity; placing people at the center of artistic creation and enjoyment; build a rich, integrated spiritual life imbued with identity.

For the first time, four Vietnamese songs associated with the summer memories of many generations: “Entering Summer” (Le Huu Ha), “Phuong Hong” (Vu Hoang-Do Trung Quan), “Ha Trang” (Trinh Cong Son) and “Hat Voi Chu Cicada” (Thanh Tung) will resonate together on a grand symphony stage. These familiar melodies, once associated with the youth and memories of Vietnamese people, are now renewed with the art of symphony, bringing a completely different experience, both familiar, new and full of art.
Along with the 4 summer songs performed in the symphonic style mentioned above, the program adds more color and vibrato with two works "Tieng flute que huong" and "Ly ngua o" with strong folk melodies combined with world classical music works such as: "Mua ha" extracted from the suite "Bon mua" by composer Vivaldi, "Giac a mong a sua-Scherzo" by Mendelssohn, "Farandole" from the play "L'Arlesienne" by Bizet, "Krapfenwald'l" by Strauss II, the opening of Act III of the opera Lohengrin by Richard Wagner, the opening of Symphony No. 6 - Country Melody by Ludwig van Beethoven...

The fusion between East and West, between folk and academic, between the familiar and the new in previous programs of Hanoi Concert has created a unique, impressive and attractive identity of "Summer Concert 2025".
The Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra (which has accompanied the Hanoi Concert series throughout the past time) will perform with conductor Honna Tetsuji (conductor and Music Director of the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra from 2009 to present).
For the first time, People's Artist Tan Minh (tenor) will perform the hit song "Phuong Hong" - the song that has become synonymous with his name - in a symphonic style. The program will also feature performances by singer Khanh Linh (soprano) and artists Hoang Ho Khanh Van (violin), and Le Thu Huong (flute).

In the "Summer Concert 2025" there will be songs that the audience is used to hear melodies and sounds from small groups with accompaniment or beats. But when performed with a symphony orchestra, the effect will be much better. Because 60 or 100 artists will be 60 or 100 powerful sources of energy and the audience will enjoy the best energy from the artists.
Musician Do Kien Cuong - who arranged many works in the program
With this program, Hanoi Concert of Hanoi Radio and Television has been aimed to expand the community of classical music lovers by renewing familiar works, combining Vietnamese pop music and Western classical music, contributing to building the habit of classical enjoying art among the public, especially the young generation.
From there, contributing to making chamber art a vibrant part of modern life, so that symphonic music is not only present in luxurious spaces but also spreads, connecting with all classes of audiences, building a dynamic and integrated cultural community.
In recent years, Hanoi Radio and Television has been playing a reinvigorated role in innovating performing arts, proactively organizing large-scale, quality music programs, combining technology, television and digital platforms to enhance the experience of enjoying academic art for audiences of all ages, especially through the Hanoi Concert series. This is one of the practical actions to implement the Resolution on developing the capital's cultural industry in the period of 2021-2025, with a vision to 2045, making culture a key economic sector, building Hanoi into a "creative city" by 2045.
