On this occasion, musician Pham Dac Hien, Chairman of the Binh Duong Province Literature and Arts Association, presented a symbol to honor artists who have made outstanding contributions to the development of Binh Duong province's culture and arts after the country's reunification.

Musician Lu Nhat Vu (1936–2025) left behind a musical legacy imbued with Southern character, rich in patriotism, with many songs associated with the resistance movement and the cause of nation building.

Songs such as “The Saigon Girl Who Carries Ammunition”, “The Song of the Pioneers”, “Please Rest Assured, Mother” and especially “The Song of the Southern Land” (released in 1997, the music in the movie “The Southern Land”) are loved by many people because of their ability to evoke with melody, rhythm, and sound the time of settlers opening up the land, carrying layers of regional cultural meaning and the identity of the Southern people.
