(NLĐO) – Composer Lu Nhat Vu has left behind many works that have entered the realm of literature and art, deeply touching people's hearts with his talent.

The family of musician Lu Nhat Vu announced that he passed away at 9:30 AM on March 29th at People's Hospital 115, at the age of 90. That evening, at 7 PM, the funeral service will be held, after which his body will be taken to the National Funeral Home in the South (5 Pham Ngu Lao Street, Ward 2, Go Vap District). The procession will begin at 6 AM on April 2nd.
His passing has left many grieving. After more than 7 months of treatment in the Intensive Care and Toxicology Unit of People's Hospital 115, he received dedicated care and treatment from a team of skilled doctors and nurses, but he did not survive.
Not long ago, on behalf of the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc, Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, visited musician Lu Nhat Vu, who was receiving treatment at Hospital 115. And on March 27th, a delegation of officials from the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee also visited musician Lu Nhat Vu.
Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong, Standing Committee Member of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Party Agencies of Ho Chi Minh City, and Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, presented over 260 million VND, provided by the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee to the family of the musician who has made significant contributions to the field of culture and arts.

His passing has left many in the literary and artistic community deeply saddened, as they all cherish his immense contributions to the revolutionary cause and the national literary and artistic scene.
He left behind many famous compositions such as: "Evening in the Hmong Village", "Saigon Girl Carrying Ammunition", "Rest Assured, Mother", "Song of the Southern Land"...
