Suoi Hiep Commune: Construction begins on 6 houses for families affected by floods.

As part of the "Quang Trung Campaign," on the morning of December 12th, the People's Committee of Suoi Hiep commune, in coordination with the Khanh Hoa Provincial Military Command and the 4th Naval Region Command, held a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of houses for six families whose homes were destroyed by floods in the commune.

Leaders of the units have commenced the construction of houses for six households in Hoi Xuong village, including Mr. and Mrs. Tran Ngoc Dinh, Tran Thi My Chau, Nguyen Thi Bi, Nguyen Thi Lien, Nguyen Ngoc An, and Huynh Thi Kim Lien, on plots of land allocated to households by the Suoi Hiep Commune People's Committee in the Suoi Hiep Resettlement Area. Each household received support of 60 million VND and 5.6 tons of cement.

Previously, on December 2nd, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Police started the construction of a house for Ms. Vo Thi Thu in Thuy Xuong village, Suoi Hiep commune.

Representatives of the households expressed their gratitude to the supporting organizations.

During the recent floods, 2,350 households with 13,100 people in Suoi Hiep commune were affected. Many areas were flooded to a depth of 1 to 2 meters, over 40 hectares of crops were submerged, and more than 41,000 poultry were swept away by the floodwaters. Seven houses in the commune collapsed.
