On February 1 (the 4th day of the Lunar New Year 2025), in Da Nang City, at many markets in the area such as Con Market, Dong Da Market, Cam Le Market, Hoa Khanh Market, Hoa Khanh Nam Market, Nam O Market... some traders opened their doors to sell goods at the beginning of the year. Most of the traders did not sit at the stalls in the market but sold on both sides of the sidewalk around the market.

The vendors that have opened are mainly in the fields of betel and areca nuts, flowers for offerings, fruits, vegetables, noodles, meat, fish, etc.

It is noted that the prices of the above items are stable and some goods have slightly decreased compared to January 27 and 28 (December 28 and 29 of the year of the Dragon).

Purchasing power on the 4th day of Tet increased compared to the 3rd day, but was still not high because people mainly bought the first goods of the year and bought offerings to their ancestors after Tet.

Goods on the 4th day of Tet in Da Nang City recorded stable prices and some items decreased slightly compared to the end of the year.

The most popular are the stalls selling betel, salt, flowers for offerings, and fruits. The prices of flowers for offerings have decreased compared to the end of the year. Specifically, chrysanthemums cost 10,000 - 20,000 VND/plant (including yellow chrysanthemums, red chrysanthemums, marigolds, depending on size); gladiolus costs 20,000 - 40,000 VND/dozen (depending on color: yellow, pink, red, about 30% lower than the end of the year)...

Fruits, betel and vegetables have good purchasing power.

Fruit prices also recorded a slight decrease of about 10 - 15% compared to the end of the year. For example, oranges of all kinds (sanh oranges, canh oranges, Vinh oranges...) cost from 30,000 - 60,000 VND/kg (depending on type and size); star apples 60,000 VND/kg; green-skinned grapefruit 40,000 - 50,000 VND/kg; custard apples 80,000 VND/kg;...

Vegetable shops recorded good purchasing power for green vegetables such as spinach, lettuce, coriander, etc. Prices of vegetables also decreased compared to the end of the year. Many traders said that tomorrow (the 5th day of Tet), when trucks from other places such as Gia Lai, Da Lat, and Hanoi arrive, vegetable prices will continue to decrease.

Items such as vermicelli, noodles, tofu, meat and fish recorded stable prices.

Some small traders selling meat, fish (mainly freshwater fish), noodles, and tofu have also opened. Prices for these items are stable compared to before Tet and are similar to normal days.
