Hardworking and disciplined
In the 2025 high school graduation exam, Bui Quy Anh Khoa, a 12A Math major student of Quang Trung High School for the Gifted, had the highest score in the school (4 graduation exam subjects: Math, Literature, Physics, Chemistry with a total of 37 points) and at the same time became the runner-up of Dong Nai province.
Also honored to be among the excellent students, the list of valedictorians of each block is long with the following names: Nguyen Thanh Hai (29 points, block A00), Dao Viet Hung (27.5 points, block A01), Nguyen Duc Manh (28 points, block B00), Nguyen Thi Kim Hue (28.75 points, block C00), Le Nhat Anh Duong (27.25 points, block D01), Dang Minh Phuc (27 points, block D07).
Dao Viet Hung, a 12A math major, twice the valedictorian of the Ho Chi Minh City National University's aptitude test, said: "I always remind myself that studying is not just for exams, to become valedictorian, but also for knowledge. I don't have any secret to studying. I try to discipline myself with social networks, divide my study time, and adjust to keep my mind always comfortable."
The spirit of self-study and the desire to improve are the impressive points of the typical faces in this year's high school graduation exam.
With Bui Quy Anh Khoa, he set a goal: "Study effectively. Always have a firm grasp of the knowledge in textbooks, must understand the root of the problem before doing exercises". Because of that perseverance and determination, Khoa's average result in grade 12 was 9.38 and achieved very high results in the 2025 High School Graduation Exam - runner-up of Dong Nai province.
Commenting on the two valedictorians of her class, Ms. Vu Thi Thuong, English teacher and homeroom teacher of class 12A specializing in Mathematics, shared: There are many regrets about the exam results of Anh Khoa and Viet Hung. Because they performed very well during their studies and in their mock exams, I expected their results to be even better. They showed a love for scientific knowledge and outstanding self-study ability. They are all students with clear learning goals, have the courage to face changes and strive for progress.
Commenting on Nguyen Thanh Hai, the valedictorian of block A00 with 29 points (Math 9, Chemistry 10, Physics 10), teacher Nguyen Van Thoa, Chemistry teacher, homeroom teacher of class 12C, shared: “Hai is obedient, polite, self-study conscious, has good thinking, always gets along with friends, and helps other students in their studies. Hai's learning process in class and through the mock exams, his result in the recent exam did not surprise me. He deserves to receive this "sweet fruit".
