At 8:00 a.m. on October 22, storm No. 12 Fengshen was about 270 km east-northeast of Da Nang City. The strongest wind near the storm center was level 10 (89-102 km/h), gusting to level 12. It is forecasted that in the next 3 hours, storm No. 12 will move slowly westward at a speed of about 10 km/h.
Forecast in the next 24 hours, storm No. 12 Fengshen in the coastal waters of Hue City to Quang Ngai , change direction West Southwest, continue to move slowly at a speed of about 10-15km/h, gradually weaken into a tropical depression with intensity of level 7, gust level 9.
At around 7:00 p.m. on October 23, the tropical depression in the southern Laos region continued to move slowly in the West-Southwest direction, traveling 10-15km per hour, gradually weakening into a low pressure area.
