On the morning of September 26th, the Veterans Association of Yen Khanh district held an inauguration ceremony for a "Comrade's House" for Mr. Vu Trung Kien, 62 years old, a veteran in Khanh Tien commune who was facing housing difficulties.
Attending the event were representatives from the Provincial Veterans Association, Yen Khanh District, veterans, and residents of Hamlet 6, Khanh Tien Commune.
The house was built at a total cost of over 200 million VND, of which the District Veterans Association contributed 60 million VND; family members and relatives contributed 140 million VND; and the Commune Veterans Association, other organizations, and the Front Committee of Hamlet 6 contributed 200 days of labor.
At the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Vu Trung Kien's family received many gifts and expressions of joy from various organizations and associations.
This is a meaningful activity of the Yen Khanh Veterans Association, demonstrating the moral principles of "Remembering the source when drinking water," "Helping those in need," "Mutual support and compassion," and responding to the emulation movement "Joining hands for the poor - Leaving no one behind" launched by the Prime Minister .
