Installing cameras on passenger buses is expected to contribute to enhanced surveillance and improve security and safety for passengers.
Installing cameras in the passenger cabin is expected to contribute to enhanced monitoring of transportation operations, assist in detecting and preventing violations, and improve passenger security and safety.


Passenger transport operations are subject to increased monitoring to enhance security and safety for the public.
To ensure consistency with new regulations, in the draft Decree amending and supplementing some contents related to the Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety, the Ministry of Public Security also proposes adding penalties for violations of regulations on installing passenger compartment image recording devices or falsifying data from these devices.

According to the Ministry of Public Security, the mandatory installation of video recording devices on passenger transport vehicles with 8 seats or more aims to facilitate vehicle management and support the prevention and detection of violations of social order and safety on road transport.
