Da Nang City Veterans Association visits and gives gifts to wounded soldiers

DNO - On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), on the afternoon of July 26, a delegation of the City Veterans Association visited and presented gifts to members who are war invalids and sick soldiers in Tam Anh and Tam Xuan communes.

In Tam Anh commune, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, Chairman of the Veterans Association of the city Truong Chi Lang and the working delegation visited members Nguyen Van Tiem (disabled soldier, Xuan Ngoc village) and Dang Quang Khanh (disabled soldier, An Luong village).

In Tam Xuan commune, the delegation visited members Tran Dinh Ho (3/4 class disabled soldier, Loc Ngoc village) and Nguyen Tan Sanh (3/4 class disabled soldier, Ba Bau village).

Chairman of the City War Veterans Association Truong Chi Lang expressed his deep gratitude for the contributions and sacrifices of war invalids and sick soldiers for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland; at the same time, he hoped that war invalids and sick soldiers would overcome difficulties, continue to promote the tradition of Uncle Ho's soldiers, and contribute to the development of their homeland.

On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, the City War Veterans Association established working delegations to visit and present gifts to members; coordinated with the City Youth Union to organize a candle lighting ceremony at the City Martyrs Cemetery, Hoa Vang Commune and the Quang Nam Province Martyrs Cemetery (old), Quang Phu Ward.
