At Quang An flower market in the last days of the year, the air is thick with the intoxicating fragrance of tens of thousands of fresh flowers, and the hurried footsteps of people racing against time to bring spring to the city.
Right from the entrance, the sight of localized traffic congestion has become an indispensable "specialty." Long lines of trucks carrying flowers from all over pour in, and people and vehicles come and go from inside the market.

Motorbikes belonging to street vendors and locals lined up, inching forward little by little amidst the crowded streets.
This scene is not unpleasant; on the contrary, it ignites a unique sense of hustle and excitement that only those who are directly present can fully appreciate.

Stepping inside Quang An flower market, you'll find endless rows of flower stalls in a riot of colors: the vibrant red of peach blossoms, the golden yellow of chrysanthemums, lilies, and marigolds, and the pristine white of lilies and orchids...
From traditional flowers to high-end imports such as phalaenopsis orchids, bird of paradise flowers, and tulips, they all come together here, creating a space densely packed with color.

The pungent smell of freshly cut tree trunks and the strong fragrance of lilies blend together to create a unique and unmistakable market aroma.
The men nimbly unloaded the bundles of flowers, taller than a man's head, from the truck bed.

In another corner, street vendors are meticulously inspecting each flower bud, bundling them tightly together in preparation for their journey through the streets.
Most striking were the images of old, dilapidated motorbikes with "extraordinary" carrying capacity. Flowers were piled high like mountains, completely obscuring the drivers.

There were carts loaded with all sorts of flowers, from chrysanthemums and roses to large branches of peach blossoms, all securely tied with strong rubber bands.
Those vehicles are like mobile "walls of flowers," ready to spread out in all directions.
Amidst the honking of cars and the intoxicating scent of flowers, each person who comes to Quang An brings with them their own unique story.

In the days leading up to Tet (Lunar New Year), Quang An Market is not only a place for small traders to do business, but also an ideal destination for Hanoi residents who want to enjoy the unique atmosphere of Hanoi at night.
Unlike the bustling street vendors, many groups of young people or families take advantage of the early morning market to experience the cool weather, choose a beautiful peach blossom branch, or simply take photos to capture the springtime moments.

In the heart of the market, buying and selling takes place quickly but with remarkable professionalism. Hands nimbly bundle flowers, and vendors beam with smiles when they encounter wealthy customers.
Despite being exhausted from staying up all night, everyone's face radiated hope for a warm, prosperous, and fulfilling Lunar New Year.

By 9-10 pm, the market reaches its peak of activity before this "lifeline" begins to branch out in all directions.
From the flower market, trucks laden with the colors of spring travel down to the old town, to Ha Dong, and then spread south of the city, carried by street vendors on bicycles and in baskets of flowers, weaving through every alleyway.

Quang An Flower Market in the final days of the year is not just a place for the circulation of goods. It is the heartbeat, the soul of spring in the capital city.
There, Tet is not only present through the vibrant colors of flowers, but also shines in the struggle for survival, in the hope for a peaceful new year, and in the connection of souls who love beauty.
The vehicles carrying the colors of spring from Quang An brighten and warm every home as the Lunar New Year approaches.
