Party Bloc Meeting, Quarter III/2023

Party-affiliated agencies must proactively review and successfully complete their tasks according to the 2023 plan. This was the directive given by Comrade Nguyen Hoai Anh, Alternate Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, at the quarterly Party Bloc meeting for the third quarter of 2023.

In the third quarter of 2023, the Party-affiliated agencies of the province proactively demonstrated a high sense of responsibility in implementing key tasks, achieving positive results. Specifically, the Party-affiliated agencies effectively directed, guided, and organized activities commemorating important political events and major national and local holidays in the third quarter of 2023 with flexible methods, creating a widespread impact on society. A highlight was the intensified promotion and organization of activities within the framework of the 2023 National Tourism Year “ Binh Thuan – Green Convergence” and the “Binh Thuan Street Culture Week 2023”.

Comrade Nguyen Hoai Anh, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, chaired the meeting.

The Steering Committee 35-16 promptly advised the Provincial Party Standing Committee on directing the work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation, preventing and combating the plots and activities of peaceful evolution, and refuting the erroneous views of hostile forces, especially harmful and toxic information on social media. Also in the third quarter, the province invited Comrade Nguyen Thai Hoc – Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Committee – to introduce the work "Resolutely and persistently fighting against corruption and negativity, contributing to building a clean and strong Party and State" by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.

Party Secretary and Editor-in-Chief of Binh Thuan Newspaper, Le Huy Toan, delivered a speech at the conference.

Party building and organizational work has been comprehensively and effectively directed and implemented. The Standing Committee was advised on organizing a conference to implement the process of identifying and nominating personnel for the planned membership of the 14th Central Committee of the Party, term 2026-2031; the Provincial Party Committee and its Standing Committee were advised on the process of nominating personnel to consolidate leadership and management positions; and the political standards of cadres were assessed, verified, concluded, and re-concluded according to the Politburo's regulations on 23 cases of Party membership admission.

Inspection, supervision, internal affairs, and mass mobilization work were implemented proactively and effectively, achieving positive results and ensuring progress and quality according to the program and plan. Efforts to combat corruption and negative practices were intensified, and active advice and guidance were provided in resolving cases and handling complaints according to regulations. Binh Thuan Newspaper closely followed the province's political tasks, focusing on publicizing outstanding events of the country and the province.

At the conference, delegates supplemented and clarified outstanding achievements, while also proposing solutions to effectively implement key tasks in the fourth quarter of 2023, and making recommendations to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee on several issues...

In his concluding remarks at the conference, Comrade Nguyen Hoai Anh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, acknowledged the achievements of the Party-affiliated agencies in the third quarter of 2023. To effectively carry out tasks in the coming period, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested that the agencies proactively review and complete their tasks according to the 2023 plan; and improve the quality of advisory work for the Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Committee, and the Provincial Party Executive Committee.
