School conference on national security protection: Solidarity, companionship and development

(BDO) On April 23, at the Binh Duong Technology Management Vocational Education Center, the Provincial Police Department coordinated to organize a conference for universities, colleges, and intermediate schools to evaluate the implementation results of Circular No. 124/2021/TT-BCA of the Ministry of Public Security and deploy a plan to build a movement for the whole people to protect national security in 2025 in educational institutions.

Attending the conference were more than 100 delegates, including leaders of the provincial police departments, representatives of the Department of Education and Training and universities, colleges and secondary schools in the province.

Colonel Ngo Xuan Phu, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police Department chaired the discussion.

Over the past year, 15/15 schools have registered to implement the criteria and 12 schools have been recognized as meeting the standards of "Safety in security and order". This result clearly shows the positive change in awareness and action of schools. At the conference, Binh Duong Center for Vocational Education and Technology Management - the host unit shared the model of "Self-management Board - Shock Team - Surveillance Camera" deployed since 2019. This model operates effectively thanks to the coordination of three parties: school - parents - locality, along with timely monitoring and reporting tools.

At the same time, some schools also presented innovative solutions such as: applying technology in student management, integrating legal education in teaching, building a team of teachers as the core of propaganda... The direction in 2025 is determined to continue promoting the safe school model, enhancing inter-sectoral coordination, promoting the effectiveness of self-management and legal education for students.

At the same time, the conference organized the awarding of the "Protecting National Security" Medal of the Ministry of Public Security to individuals with persistent and effective contributions over many years; awarded certificates of merit from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province and certificates of merit from the Director of the Provincial Police Department to outstanding collectives and individuals in 2024 and 12 schools that met safety standards for security and order were also announced and awarded official certificates of recognition by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
