The conference aims to encourage and promote historical research on Vietnam's territorial sovereignty, provide a solid scientific foundation to affirm and protect the country's sovereignty, and create a forum for researchers, scholars and experts in the field of history to exchange, discuss and share research results, new approaches and important findings related to territorial sovereignty. The conference is not only an opportunity for domestic universities and research organizations to enhance cooperation and connection in scientific research, especially in the field of history and national sovereignty, but also contributes to raising public awareness of the importance of research and protection of territorial sovereignty through communication, press andeducational activities. Researching and presenting issues related to territorial sovereignty on a historical basis is of great significance in affirming national sovereignty, especially in the context of the current complicated territorial disputes, contributing to the development of Vietnamese historical science by updating and applying new research methods, comprehensive and complete approaches to territorial sovereignty.
