The first National Historical Conference is about to open.

The Vietnam Historical Science Association, in collaboration with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (USSH) - VNU Hanoi; the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - VNU Ho Chi Minh City; and the University of Education - Da Nang University, will organize the first National Historical Conference with the theme: "Research on national sovereignty and territory according to a holistic and comprehensive approach to Vietnamese history" . The conference aims to encourage and promote historical research on Vietnam's territorial sovereignty, providing a solid scientific foundation for affirming and protecting the country's sovereignty, while creating a forum for researchers, scholars, and experts in the field of history to exchange, discuss, and share research results, new approaches, and important findings related to territorial sovereignty. The conference is not only an opportunity for domestic universities and research organizations to strengthen cooperation and networking in scientific research, especially in the field of history and national sovereignty, but also contributes to raising public awareness of the importance of researching and protecting territorial sovereignty through media, press, and educational activities. Research and presentation of issues related to territorial sovereignty based on historical evidence are of significant importance in affirming national sovereignty, especially in the context of the current complex territorial disputes. This contributes to the development of Vietnamese historical science by updating and applying new research methods and adopting a comprehensive and holistic approach to territorial sovereignty.
