Identifying the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses as a major policy, a special political task and of profound humanitarian significance of the Party and State, contributing to bringing the country steadily into an era of rich, powerful and prosperous development, the Ministry of Public Security has mobilized resources to support 3 provinces: Gia Lai (old), Kon Tum (now Quang Ngai province) and Dak Nong (now Lam Dong province) with a total budget of 355 billion VND to build and repair 6,370 houses for poor and near-poor households. With the determination of the Steering Committee for the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses at all levels; the participation of agencies, departments, branches, unions, enterprises and people of the 3 provinces, up to now, the entire program has been completed 1 month ahead of schedule compared to the set plan. This result has practically contributed to stabilizing and improving the material and spiritual life of the people, especially ethnic minorities.

Major General Le Quang Nhan - Director of Gia Lai Provincial Police said that the police forces of the three provinces have proactively coordinated, consulted, mobilized resources, contributed funds, labor days, and directly ate, lived, and worked with the people to complete each house on schedule, according to technical standards and ensuring quality. This is a meaningful gift that the People's Police force sent to households in difficult circumstances, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, the 80th anniversary of the People's Police Traditional Day (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025), and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2025). Thereby, contributing to consolidating the people's security posture, building the image of the People's Police soldier "forgetting himself for the country, serving the people". Major General Le Quang Nhan pledged that the provincial police force will continue to advise on the implementation of the program and accompany and care for people's lives, ensure security and order, and serve the cause of economic and social development.

On behalf of the Party Committee, government, army and people in the province, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Chau Ngoc Tuan expressed his deep gratitude to the Party Central Committee, the National Assembly, the Government, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and ministries, departments, branches and organizations in the Central. Deputy Secretary of the Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee expressed his gratitude to the police officers and soldiers who have not been afraid of difficulties and hardships, working side by side with the locality day and night to effectively implement the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses. This is a very meaningful activity that demonstrates the deep concern and sharing of the leaders, officers and soldiers of the police for the people in the province, contributing together with the local Party Committees and authorities in the province to help poor households, near-poor households, policy families, and people with meritorious services to the revolution have solid houses; helping the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Gia Lai province have enough funding to be implemented on a large scale and achieve the highest efficiency.

Accordingly, in 207 peak days (from the beginning of the year to July 25), the Party Committee and people of the province have completed supporting 12,520 households of meritorious people, martyrs' relatives, poor and near-poor households with a total budget of more than 800 billion VND. Of which, the Ministry of Public Security has supported Gia Lai to build and renovate 4,470 houses with a budget of 241 billion VND.

In the context of focusing on implementing many important political tasks, with a high sense of responsibility, working enthusiastically, making efforts and trying their best "For the people's service", the comrades have urgently completed a huge amount of work to hand over houses to households on schedule.

These are two of the 6,370 houses in the program to eliminate slums and dilapidated houses of the Ministry of Public Security in the three provinces.
