According to the report on the results of the Provincial Front's work in 2024, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee promptly deployed key tasks and signed emulation covenants with the Fatherland Fronts of districts, towns and cities; developed a program and plan to ensure the contents according to the direction and guidance of the Central Government, the province and in accordance with the practical situation of the unit and locality. Accordingly, closely following the leadership and direction of the Party Committee, effectively coordinating with authorities at all levels, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee effectively implemented the program of coordinated action, contributing to the successful implementation of socio-economic, security and defense goals and targets in the province. The Provincial Fatherland Front Committee successfully organized the 15th Congress of the Bac Giang Provincial Fatherland Front for the 2024-2029 term.
The Fatherland Front at all levels in the province continues to effectively implement the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for poor, near-poor households and policy families. The whole province has completed supporting 1,396 poor, near-poor households and policy families to repair and build new houses according to the plan set out in 2024. Responding flexibly to natural disasters and quickly mobilizing support for people to overcome the damage caused by storm No. 3, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee has received nearly 169 billion VND from central agencies, departments and branches, provinces and cities nationwide, units, enterprises, organizations, individuals inside and outside the province, and overseas Vietnamese.
Implementing the Campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas", the Fatherland Front at all levels in the province has mobilized people to donate more than 238 thousand square meters of land to build new rural areas. The Provincial Fatherland Front Committee practices democracy, protects the legitimate rights and interests of the people, supervises and provides social criticism, participates in preventing and combating corruption and waste, participates in building a clean and strong Party and government; promotes the role of prestigious people, dignitaries, officials and religious followers in participating in building the great national unity bloc.
