On the morning of May 28th, a delegation led by Ms. Le Kim Anh, Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City and Chairwoman of the Hanoi City Women's Union, visited and offered congratulations at the Central Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Association (Quan Su Pagoda).

The delegation was received by Venerable Thich Thanh Huan, Secretary of the Central Executive Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Association. At the Hanoi Buddhist Association (Ba Da Pagoda), the delegation was received by Venerable Thich Bao Nghiem, Head of the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Association of Hanoi City.
Previously, on May 14th and 27th, the delegation from the Hanoi City Women's Union also visited and offered congratulations at the Central Buddhist Nuns' Branch of the Vietnam Buddhist Association (Bodhi Pagoda), the Hanoi City Buddhist Nuns' Branch (Kim Lien Pagoda), Quynh Loi Pagoda, Vien Minh Pagoda, and Tram Gian Pagoda.

During the visits, the Standing Committee of the City Women's Union extended their best wishes for health, peace, and happiness to the monks, nuns, and Buddhist followers on the occasion of the Grand Ceremony. The Union's leaders also expressed their hope to continue receiving the support of the Buddhist Church in the Union's activities, especially in humanitarian and charitable work, caring for women in difficult circumstances, and educating the younger generation to live virtuous and humane lives.
On behalf of the Church, the leaders of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Association and the Hanoi Buddhist Association expressed their delight at the positive contributions of the city's Women's Union at all levels to the development of the capital and the advancement of women. With the motto "Buddhism - Nation - Socialism," the Church affirmed its commitment to always stand alongside the capital and the country on the path of construction and development.

This year's series of activities to visit and celebrate the Buddha's Birthday not only demonstrates the Hanoi City Women's Union's appreciation for beautiful cultural and religious values, but also contributes to strengthening national unity, spreading humanitarian values, and working towards the goal of building a more civilized, modern, and distinctive capital city.
