On the morning of October 6, the Provincial Cooperative Union held a workshop to connect supply and demand for consumption of manufactured goods according to the supply chain.
Attending the workshop were Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Ha; Permanent representative of the South, National Center for Supporting Innovative Startups ( Ministry of Science and Technology ); leaders of the Hanoi City Cooperative Alliance; Provincial Cooperative Alliance and departments, branches, and sectors; cooperatives and enterprises in the province.

The province currently has 746 cooperatives and 5 cooperative unions. Many cooperatives have boldly changed traditional production and management methods, improved operational efficiency, and applied science , technology, and innovation to increase productivity and product quality.
However, it is forecasted that in the coming time, the production and business situation of cooperatives and enterprises will face many difficulties, requiring cooperatives to innovate and actively transform digitally in agriculture and production and business...
Therefore, the workshop was organized to connect supply and demand of goods consumption according to the supply chain for cooperatives with enterprises inside and outside the province; encourage cooperatives to promote dynamism, initiative in production, business, creativity, and steadfastly overcome difficulties and challenges.

At the workshop, representatives of cooperatives and enterprises discussed and shared about the current situation of production and business; the need for linking the supply of input products; focusing on perfecting products to be competitive in the market; support from management agencies; proactively applying information technology to production; being flexible to innovate production activities, linking product consumption... In addition, representatives of cooperatives and units supplying input materials, technology and consuming products also introduced products that can be connected.
Speaking at the workshop, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Ha said that in general, the collective economic sector and cooperatives of the province have basically developed in the right direction, being an important economic component in the socio-economic development of the province. The Provincial People's Committee and sectors are focusing on propaganda and promotion of local products, boosting consumption in traditional channels, connecting with many e-commerce trading floors, searching for potential export markets and connecting trade between product suppliers and distribution enterprises.
The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee suggested that in the coming time, all levels, sectors and localities in the province should pay attention to, orient and support cooperatives to expand production scale; diversify markets, expand new markets through traditional business methods and e-commerce; have new agricultural products, invest systematically and deeply in technology to participate in the export market. Enterprises supplying and consuming products should connect sustainably with cooperatives to produce and do business effectively together.
