Commendations were awarded to collectives and individuals who made contributions on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of the Huong Giang Poetry Association.

The event was attended by current and former leaders of Hue city, departments, agencies, the Union of Arts and Culture Associations, the Ho Chi Minh Museum, and a large number of members and poetry lovers in the area.

For 45 years, the Huong Giang Poetry Association has become a common home for poetry lovers in the ancient capital, a place to connect, nurture, and promote the creativity of its members. Hundreds of poetry collections have been published, contributing to enriching the treasure trove of Vietnamese literature and art, praising the Party, President Ho Chi Minh, and the homeland, while also honoring the beauty of Hue's culture and people. The Association's activities are always closely linked to local political tasks, participating in the cultural flow of the Hue Festival, and promoting the image of the heritage city to friends both domestically and internationally.

At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded and honored outstanding collectives and individuals, recognizing the enduring contributions of many generations of members. In particular, the Huong Giang Poetry Association was honored to receive a Certificate of Merit from the Chairman of the People's Committee of Hue City for its outstanding contributions during 45 years of development, from 1980 to 2025.

The 45th anniversary celebration of the Huong Giang Poetry Association is an occasion to pay tribute to previous generations of members, while affirming the enduring vitality of the Hue poetry movement and further inspiring creativity in today's poets.
