Registration for VnExpress Marathon Quy Nhon is closed today.

Runners only have today to buy tickets to join the race to explore the coastal tourist city of Quy Nhon, before the registration gate closes at 23:59.

After many months of registration, the 4th edition of VnExpress Marathon Sparkling Quy Nhon has almost reached the number of 10,000 athletes. The organizing committee will close the registration gate at 11:59 p.m. today, May 20, to ensure the best preparation. Athletes who want to participate in the tournament only have one last day to register for the distances of 10, 21, and 42 km. The prices for the three distances are 1.1 million VND, 1.3 million VND, and 1.5 million VND, respectively.

Runners participating in the race will receive a race-kit bag with more than 10 items. The most prominent of which is the shirt with a distinctive blue tone and a pattern evoking the image of sunlight on the Quy Nhon sea. At the finish line, runners will receive a medal that has just been revealed, inspired by the famous Cham towers in Binh Dinh. The 21km distance will have a finisher cap, and the 42km distance will have finisher pants. These are two completely new items, expected to be announced in the near future. VnExpress Marathon Quy Nhon 2023 kicks off on June 11. The tournament takes place in the middle of summer with high temperatures. Athletes participating in long distances such as 21km and 42km are advised to spend at least a month training, focusing on exercises adapted to the heat such as heat training and hill climbing to compete on consecutive bridges. In addition, runners need to focus on nutrition, hydration and listening to their bodies during the race. The organizers have arranged nearly 20 one-way and two-way water stations and medical stations with high density.

VM Quy Nhon is considered by many runners to be the most challenging race in the VnExpress Marathon system, bringing a sense of victory if successfully conquered. The race takes participants through the most beautiful roads in the coastal city such as Xuan Dieu, Nguyen Tat Thanh, Thi Nai bridge, Phuong Mai sand dunes. Quy Nhon race track has the fewest turns and turnaround points in the VM system with many long straight sections convenient for runners to compete and explore the youthful beauty of the famous coastal tourist city.

Taking place at the beginning of the summer vacation, the race is an ideal opportunity for families to rest, relax, and combine sports activities with beach tourism. One day before the race is Kun Marathon - a race for children aged 6 - 10. The series of consecutive events of VnExpress Marathon is expected to create a festive atmosphere by attracting tens of thousands of runners, domestic and foreign tourists to the coastal city. Places such as Ky Co, Eo Gio, Nhon Hai, Nhon Ly, Hon Kho... become places to attract tourists, contributing tens of billions of VND to local tourism revenue.
