On September 23, the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City announced that the second round of teacher recruitment for the 2025-2026 school year will take place on September 27-28 at 6 testing sites, with 10,175 qualified candidates.
Previously, from August 14 to 17, the Department received 10,562 applications, of which 387 did not meet requirements.
The Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City notes that when participating in the second round of the exam, candidates need to bring: Original citizen identification card or other identification documents with photo (in case of lost ID card/CCCD); Original copies of 2 application forms (with photo attached and signed with full name); Pen and other items allowed to be brought into the exam room according to regulations.
Musical instruments, paintings (for Music and Fine Arts), textbooks of the 2018 General Education Program (Primary school: grades 3, 4; Secondary school: grades 6, 7, 8; High school: grades 10, 11) in the list of textbooks approved by the City People's Committee for use in general education institutions in the city...
Candidates are not allowed to bring into the examination room: mobile phones, recording devices, cameras, computers, technical devices for receiving and transmitting information, data backup devices, other information storage and transmission devices, and papers and documents not related to the examination content.
In the first round of teacher recruitment for the 2025-2026 school year, Ho Chi Minh City will recruit 5,729 teachers. Each candidate can register for one school.
This is the first year that the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City has recruited teachers for the entire city at all levels.
In particular, for public service units under the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City, the recruitment demand is 670 civil servants for teacher positions, including: Region 1 (former Ho Chi Minh City): 462 civil servants; Region 2 (former Binh Duong province): 152 civil servants; Region 3 (former Ba Ria - Vung Tau province): 56 civil servants.
For public service units under the People's Committees of wards, communes and special zones, the recruitment demand is 5,059 civil servants for teacher positions. Of which, the old Ho Chi Minh City Region 1 has 2,736 civil servants; the old Binh Duong Region 2 has 1,707 civil servants; the old Ba Ria - Vung Tau Region 3 has 616 civil servants.
