(CT) - In the first quarter of 2026, the Women's Union at all levels in Can Tho City provided job counseling and placement services for 2,360 women; and over 580 female workers received vocational training. At the same time, the Union maintained and expanded models of savings, livelihood support, digital entrepreneurship, and cooperatives for safe vegetable production… Through these efforts, 87 women received non-refundable loans totaling 351.5 million VND.

Many rural women workers have been referred to suitable jobs.

Focusing on the tasks of the second quarter, the Women's Union at all levels will coordinate effectively in managing the entrusted program with credit institutions; appraise loan projects from the Women's Economic Development Support Fund; organize workshops to propose solutions to support poor and near-poor women in achieving sustainable poverty alleviation; and coordinate the opening of vocational training classes for women…
