More than 200 Laotian officials and students completed the Vietnamese language training program at Son La College.

On September 30, Son La College held a closing ceremony of the Vietnamese language training course for officials of the Northern Lao provinces, course K15, and Lao students studying abroad, course K23, school year 2024-2025.

In the 2024-2025 school year, Son La College has received and trained Vietnamese for 39 officials from the Northern Lao provinces in the K15 course and 168 Lao international students in the K23 course. During the 9 months of study, the school always cares about and creates favorable conditions for accommodation and study for students; at the same time, it builds a Vietnamese language training program according to the Vietnamese language proficiency framework for foreigners of the Ministry of Education and Training . Along with regular school hours, Son La College also organizes many support activities such as the "Connecting Saturday" model, cultural, artistic, sports programs, field trips, sightseeing, learning about local history and culture, helping students practice and improve their ability to use Vietnamese.

At the end of the course, Laotian staff and students were able to communicate fluently in Vietnamese and were capable of serving their professional work. 100% of students completed the Vietnamese proficiency test and were awarded certificates.
