On the evening of September 10, the Border Guard Command of Thua Thien Hue province coordinated with the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee to organize the program "Border Full Moon Festival Night", bringing a warm and meaningful Mid-Autumn Festival to hundreds of children in the border area of A Luoi district.
Attending the program, Mr. Phan Quy Phuong, Vice Chairman of Thua Thien Hue Provincial People's Committee and his family contributed 30 gifts to give to children in difficult circumstances.

The Border Guard Command of Thua Thien Hue province coordinated with the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee and units and individuals to award 30 scholarships, each worth 500,000 VND, to students sponsored in the model "Adopted Children of Border Guard Station" and the program "Helping Children Go to School".
The organizers also presented more than 210 Mid-Autumn gifts to disadvantaged students in A Luoi district.
On the same day, the Border Guard Command of Thua Thien Hue province coordinated with local authorities to visit and present Mid-Autumn Festival gifts to children with disabilities and those affected by Agent Orange in Hong Van commune; and presented 250 white shirts to students of Hong Van Secondary and High School (A Luoi district) in the model "White shirts accompany children to school".

Colonel Pham Tung Lam, Political Commissar of the Border Guard of Thua Thien Hue province, said that in addition to the task of firmly protecting territorial sovereignty and national border security, the border guards regularly pay attention to the education of teenagers and children in the border area.
The programs and models implemented by the unit have contributed to supporting and helping hundreds of students in difficult and extremely difficult circumstances. Many of them have passed the university and college entrance exams and continue to strive to improve their lives.
