Over 244 billion VND spent on purchasing teaching equipment for public schools.

On September 25th, at its 15th session (special session), the Tay Ninh Provincial People's Council, 10th term (2021-2026), voted to approve several resolutions, including the policy of allocating over 244 billion VND from the budget to invest in purchasing minimum teaching equipment for public schools in the province.

According to the resolution, the investment policy is to purchase minimum teaching equipment for public primary and secondary schools to meet the teaching and learning needs under the new 2018 General Education Program.

The project will be implemented during the period 2024-2026, with the Department of Education and Training of Tay Ninh province as the investor and a consulting and project management unit hired.

Overview of the session

According to the Department of Education and Training of Tay Ninh province, in addition to other essential conditions such as the teaching staff and curriculum, it is necessary to have the appropriate physical conditions and infrastructure for each type of education and training at all levels.

The project aims to contribute to improving the quality of education and learning; enhancing management efficiency; and making effective use of facilities and teaching equipment in public schools.

Delegates of the Tay Ninh Provincial People's Council voted to approve specialized resolutions.

Tay Ninh province currently has 455 schools (133 kindergartens, 178 primary schools, 97 secondary schools, etc.) with more than 11,024 staff and teachers. To date, 100% of classrooms at all levels have been built with solid structures.
