More than 34,000 cadres, civil servants and public employees receive training to improve their qualifications in digital transformation

VHO - On June 11, at Quy Nhon University, the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province opened a training course to improve qualifications in digital transformation and digital skills for officials, civil servants and public employees of Binh Dinh province in 2025.

This is an activity to concretize Action No. 152-KH/TU dated May 13, 2025 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee to implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation.

Mr. Pham Anh Tuan, Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee delivered the opening speech of the training course.

According to the plan, from June 11 to 24, the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province will organize training for a total of 34,675 students. Of which, 96 classes will be directly trained for 9,892 students who are officials, civil servants, and public employees of agencies, organizations, and public service units of the Party, State, Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels, and the Public Security in the province.

Along with that, online training and development for 247 classes with 24,783 students who are officials inthe education and health sectors. Each training class takes place in 2 days, at Quy Nhon University and Quy Nhon College of Technology.

The training program content is compiled by Quy Nhon University, including 3 main content groups: Basic knowledge and skills on digital transformation; basic information security; basic application of digital technology in work.

The program aims to equip students with awareness of digital transformation and foster basic digital skills to help them effectively use digital tools for their work.

At the same time, improve capacity, ensure information security and apply digital technology and artificial intelligence in state management, contributing to promoting comprehensive digital transformation in agencies, units and localities.

Officials, civil servants and public employees of Binh Dinh province are trained to improve their qualifications in digital transformation and digital skills.

At the end of the course, students will take a computer-based test and receive a certificate of completion if they meet the requirements.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan emphasized that organizing training courses to improve qualifications in digital transformation and digital skills for officials, civil servants and public employees across the province is one of the important activities in the roadmap to implement the national digital transformation program and the province's digital transformation plan for the period 2021-2025, with a vision to 2030.

Through training courses, cadres, civil servants and public employees can search for information, communicate, handle work in a secure online environment and proficiently use government digital platforms.

From there, it contributes to building e-government towards digital government, as well as building innovative thinking and working style adapting to technology of cadres, civil servants and public employees.

In order for training and refresher courses to be organized and implemented effectively, completing the program and content according to plan, the head of Binh Dinh provincial government requested that trainees promote a sense of responsibility, study seriously, comply with the schedule, rules and regulations of the course and training facility.

Do not work alone during training, actively acquire knowledge, proactively discuss difficult and problematic content with lecturers and complete final course assignments as prescribed.

Through the training course, you must be able to apply knowledge into practice to serve your work effectively.

In addition to requiring lecturers to focus on disseminating basic knowledge and increasing interaction, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also wants lecturers to provide practical guidance so that students can grasp knowledge and practice well right in the classroom.

Mr. Pham Anh Tuan also requested Quy Nhon University to be proactive in arranging facilities, teaching staff and training materials, and coordinate with the Department of Home Affairs and the Department of Science and Technology to implement training work to ensure quality and efficiency.

At the same time, relevant departments, branches, agencies and localities are required to direct cadres, civil servants and public employees to arrange time and work reasonably to fully participate in the training program and content.
