This is also the highlight of the Vietnam Creative Advertising Career Forum 2025 with the theme "Creative advertising on the cultural and technological foundation of the new generation" recently held in Ho Chi Minh City.
The event is part of the Vietnam Creative Advertising Awards - Van Xuan Awards 2025, organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee and Vietnam Advertising Association. The Department of Grassroots Culture, Family and Library, Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports (VH&TT) and VINAMA Media Joint Stock Company co-organized.
The forum provides an opportunity for “creative green shoots” to meet businesses, listen to experts, gain practical experience and better define their future careers. In return, businesses have the opportunity to approach a generation of young, enthusiastic human resources with the desire to become future creative advertisers.
According to Mr. Cao Van Chong, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City, digital technology is developing strongly, national cultural identity is increasingly honored. The combination of the above factors will open up many great opportunities for creative advertising to break through, creating great strides, contributing to the formation of the cultural industry - one of the pillars of the creative economy that Ho Chi Minh City is aiming for.
According to Mr. Tran Viet Tan, Vice President of the Vietnam Advertising Association, Deputy Organizing Committee (OC) of the Vietnam Creative Advertising Awards - Van Xuan Awards 2025, Chairman of the Board of Directors of VINAMA Media Joint Stock Company, through the Forum, the Organizing Committee wishes to create a playground exclusively for young people, encourage them to try their best, assert themselves and boldly nurture their aspirations with dynamism, intelligence... to contribute to bringing the advertising industry in particular and the Vietnamese cultural industry in general to international level.
Mr. Tan emphasized that the original culture brings identity, technology opens the door to integration, the young generation with the desire to create and contribute. The harmonious combination of the above "trio" factors will help the Vietnamese advertising industry make a breakthrough in the era of national development.
Sharing at the Forum, many opinions from leading experts on creative advertising affirmed that creative advertising is only sustainable and leaves an impression on viewers when it is associated with cultural identity.
Meanwhile, technology, especially artificial intelligence (AI) and digital tools are the means of support, the “leverage” to help Vietnamese ideas break through in scale, speed and accessibility. This is a powerful tool to bring Vietnamese ideas to the world .
Mr. Nguyen Truong Son, Chairman of the Vietnam Advertising Association, emphasized that creative advertising always creates a difference. To have creative advertising products, with emotions and impressions... can only originate from a cultural foundation.
Especially in the digital transformation era, advertising ideas with national spirit will easily spread far and wide, creating long-term influence. The young generation is facing a great opportunity to become creative advertisers of the future if they know how to exploit the cultural resources of the nation in harmony with technology in the new era, Mr. Son further emphasized.
