Over 93% of communes and wards have completed the withdrawal of funds to distribute gifts for National Day.

(Chinhphu.vn) – The State Treasury has coordinated with local agencies and units to urgently disburse gifts to the people. By the morning of September 1st, more than 93% of communes and wards nationwide had completed the disbursement of funds, ensuring progress in accordance with the Government's directives.

Over 93% of communes and wards have received funding to spend on National Day gifts.

As of September 1st, the State Treasury announced that it is making efforts to coordinate with local agencies and units to implement the Prime Minister 's directive on distributing gifts to all citizens on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd.

According to preliminary data, as of 11:00 AM on September 1st, 3,120 out of 3,321 communes and wards had completed the withdrawal of funds from the State Treasury, accounting for 93.95%. The disbursed amount was nearly 10,428.6 billion VND, equivalent to 96.99% of the allocated budget. First and foremost, this result demonstrates the tremendous efforts of the entire system in racing against time to ensure that gifts reached the people in time for the holiday.

Meanwhile, in 18 provinces and cities such as Thua Thien Hue, Bac Ninh , Ca Mau, Ha Tinh, Nghe An, Quang Ninh, Thanh Hoa, etc., all communes and wards have completed the disbursement of funds. Subsequently, the remaining localities also achieved over 90% of communes and wards completing the procedures, while simultaneously urging units that have not yet completed the process to keep up with the overall schedule.

However, the State Treasury notes that this figure only reflects the funds already disbursed from the treasury. The People's Committees of communes and wards will base their direct payments to the people on the actual situation, possibly some time after the reporting date. Furthermore, inspection and supervision are being strengthened to ensure transparency and that payments are made to the correct recipients.

Furthermore, all 34 provinces and cities are urgently implementing the plan, demonstrating synchronization from the central to local levels. Simultaneously, the spirit of cooperation is clearly evident as relevant units share responsibility.

The State Treasury affirmed that it will continue to coordinate closely, accelerate the disbursement process, and ensure sufficient funds for localities to organize the distribution of gifts to citizens according to plan and in line with the Government 's directives.

In fact, many neighborhood committees are compiling lists of household heads and actual residents who will receive gifts through direct payment.
