Honda ICON e: Price reduced by 5 million VND, price excludes battery.

In December 2025, Honda Vietnam will apply a cash bonus of 5 million VND for customers who buy ICON e:. A survey at some dealers shows that some places directly reduce 1 million VND or give 6 months of battery rental. Users can choose to rent the battery at a cost of 350,000 VND/month/battery or buy it outright for 9.8 million VND/battery. The vehicle uses a 48V - 30.6Ah lithium battery, for a distance of about 71 km/charge - a limited number compared to many competitors in the same price range that can reach up to 200 km/charge. ICON e: therefore targets customers who prioritize safety, durability and brand familiarity.

Yamaha NEO's: A 15 million VND voucher brings the price down to 32-33 million VND.

From April 2025 to the present, Yamaha Motor Vietnam has maintained a promotion offering a 15 million VND cash voucher for NEOs. Along with an additional discount of 1-2 million VND at many dealerships, the actual purchase price is around 32-33 million VND, significantly lower than the listed price of 49 million VND (including VAT, battery, and charger).

The weakness of NEO's lies in the standard operating range: the vehicle comes with 1 battery for about 72 km/charge. The vehicle has an additional battery tray for users to buy 1 more battery, bringing the total distance to about 144 km/charge; however, the cost of a separate battery is 25 million VND/battery. In return, NEO's is highly appreciated for its equipment: full-vehicle LED lights, digital clock with bluetooth connection to smartphone, smartkey, convenient charging port and front disc brakes with rear drum brakes.

VinFast: Double incentives, wide product range, and LFP batteries.

In December 2025, all VinFast electric motorcycles received a 10% discount and a 100% waiver of registration fees. As a result, the starting price was only 10.56 million VND. The product range covers all segments from affordable to premium, with trendy designs.

VinFast uses LFP batteries, offering a range of approximately 100–200 km per charge. Some newer models have an additional battery tray; purchasing an extra battery (typically costing around 5 million VND/battery) can increase the range to up to 262 km per charge. The attractive pricing, battery configurations, and diverse product range make the brand's models a worthwhile option within their price range.
