According to the report at the meeting, regarding the implementation of Resolution 57/NQ-TW, the province has focused on directing and implementing the Central's orientations and regulations on science, technology, innovation and digital transformation. Gia Lai's highlight in the field of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation is the International Center for Interdisciplinary Science and Education (ICISE) in Quy Nhon Nam ward, which has become a prestigious scientific destination in Vietnam and Asia with nearly 200 high-quality international scientific events and more than 45 specialized science schools, attracting more than 12,000 scientists from 40 countries and territories, including 18 Nobel Prize-winning professors to attend and share knowledge.

In the industrial sector, information technology has made remarkable changes by successfully attracting leading Vietnamese enterprises to invest and operate in the province. The province has initially applied digital technology and data in management and decision-making. Transactions between state agencies and people have been transferred to the digital environment through comprehensive online public services.
In 2025, the province approved/submitted 04 major projects, including: Project on developing the semiconductor industry, artificial intelligence and network safety and security in the province for the period 2025 - 2030; Project on developing human resources for the semiconductor industry, artificial intelligence, network safety and security for the period 2025 - 2030; Project on developing STEM education for high school students in the province and Project on building Binh Dinh Concentrated Information Technology Park. These are important foundations, guiding the development of Gia Lai's digital technology industry for the coming term and the next period.
Regarding the "Digital Education for All" Movement in the province, it has initially achieved positive results, creating a "digital learning" atmosphere for cadres, party members and people of all walks of life in the province. Departments, branches, localities and units have focused on building and developing specialized databases, combining the construction of a digital data warehouse under the direction of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee on promoting administrative procedure reform, improving the quality of online public services to improve the quality of administrative services for people and businesses.

Deputy Chief of Office of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Gia Nghia reported on the situation and results of implementing the pilot model of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, Project 06 and the Digital Transformation Project in Party agencies.
At the meeting, delegates focused on reporting on the development of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation in the province in the first 9 months of 2025; reporting on the situation and results of implementing pilot models to implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, Project 06 and the Digital Transformation Project in Party agencies... At the same time, proposing solutions to effectively implement the development of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation in the last months of the year.
Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of Lam Hai Giang Provincial People's Committee proposed that the Steering Committee establish inspection teams to specifically inspect activities at departments, branches and localities associated with administrative reform work. Focus on digitization, cleaning specialized databases, building a smart digital data warehouse of the province. At the same time, improve the quality of public services, build a professional handbook to guide the settlement of administrative procedures. Continue to promote the implementation of direct reception of non-territorial administrative procedures. Focus on deploying online public service points at transaction points at banks to create more support networks for people to submit documents online.

Concluding the meeting, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ho Quoc Dung emphasized that in recent times, the Steering Committee and all levels and sectors have made great efforts in implementing major policies on innovation and digital transformation, contributing positively to the overall development of the province. However, this work still faces some difficulties such as the lack of IT human resources, especially at the grassroots level; the digitization of documents, especially in the field of land, is still slow and does not meet practical requirements.
Regarding the tasks in the coming time, Provincial Party Secretary Ho Quoc Dung requested all levels and sectors to continue to review and thoroughly disseminate the implementation of Resolution 57 to ensure practical and effective implementation throughout the province. Each level, each sector, each agency and unit shall review the tasks and work assigned since the beginning of the year. Any tasks that are slow to be completed must have specific solutions, along with inspection and supervision of the implementation of tasks at the grassroots level.

In particular, it is necessary to focus on concretizing and drastically implementing the 04 projects approved by the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and develop specific programs and plans for implementation. At the same time, it is necessary to prioritize the completion of technical infrastructure and purchase of equipment at departments, branches and localities to serve science and technology work and digital transformation. Deploy a unified, synchronous and interconnected model in agencies. Continue to consider and propose policies to attract human resources for digital transformation; organize training to improve information technology capacity for officials and civil servants.
The Provincial Party Secretary also proposed launching the "Digital Popularization" Movement at all levels and sectors. Continue to review the implementation and replication of the "Digital Popularization" Movement in a practical and effective manner; introduce criteria for evaluating party members in implementing the "Digital Popularization" Movement. In addition, continue to focus on attracting investment in key projects on information technology and digital transformation; for ongoing projects, if there are any problems, request relevant sectors to urgently review and propose solutions to remove them, ensuring progress.
The Provincial Party Secretary assigned the Department of Finance to balance resources to allocate budget for science and technology development and digital transformation in the province. At the same time, he requested the Provincial People's Committee Office to continue to closely monitor and report to the Steering Committee on the results of pilot model implementation of Resolution 57, Project 06 and Digital Transformation Project in Party agencies.
