The Provincial People's Council's Culture and Social Affairs Committee works with departments and branches on vocational training and job creation for rural workers.

In recent times, this work has been given attention by all levels and sectors, and is considered an important task. The province has mobilized and allocated many resources to support vocational training for rural workers.

In the period of 2022 - 2024, the whole province organized over 1,433 elementary vocational training classes, under 3 months, for more than 33,000 workers; of which, the rate of workers with stable jobs after training reached 82.5%. However, vocational training is not closely linked to employment needs and local socio -economic development requirements; jobs and incomes of some occupations are not stable.

Speaking at the meeting, Ms. Than Thi Ngoc Kieu - Head of the Provincial People's Council's Culture and Social Affairs Committee requested the departments to propose effective measures and solutions to overcome the limitations of the past time. At the same time, she requested the Department of Education and Training to continue to advise the Provincial People's Committee on the management and organization of vocational education in the general education and continuing education system; continue to coordinate with departments and branches in implementing vocational training projects for rural workers, contributing to job creation and improving the quality of local human resources.

The Department of Home Affairs actively manages and trains a team of civil servants and public employees working in vocational training and employment at the provincial and communal levels. The Department of Agriculture and Environment coordinates with relevant departments and sectors to develop and implement vocational training programs for rural workers, especially in agriculture; organizes training, transfers of scientific and technical advances, and develops production for farmers.
