On behalf of the Government , I warmly congratulate and commend the great efforts and outstanding achievements of singer Duc Phuc with his powerful voice and eye-catching performance, breathing life into the song Phu Dong Thien Vuong, inspired by the poem Tre Viet Nam , telling the story of the strength of solidarity, indomitable spirit and aspiration to rise of the Vietnamese people.
This achievement is not only a great honor for singer Duc Phuc personally but also a common pride of contemporary music and Vietnamese culture.
Vietnam's first participation in the Intervision 2025 International Music Competition, which returned after more than 40 years of interruption, conveyed a message of solidarity and friendship as "music overcomes all disagreements to unite peoples around the world ".

*Previously, on the evening of September 20, at Live Arena - the most modern performance center in Europe, the final round of the Intervision 2025 International Music Competition ended with the resounding cheers of thousands of spectators. Vietnam's representative - singer Duc Phuc was crowned champion with an explosive performance of Phu Dong Thien Vuong .
Appearing in 20th place, Duc Phuc and his dance troupe captivated the audience with the performance Phu Dong Thien Vuong (composer Ho Hoai Anh). Opening with the poem Vietnamese Bamboo by Nguyen Duy: “ Green bamboo, green since when/ The story of the old days when there was a green bamboo bank… ”, the performance led the audience from the image of a resilient bamboo tree to the symbol of Saint Giong riding an iron horse flying to heaven.
The entire lighting effects, choreography with traditional bamboo props and mats were skillfully coordinated with modern rhythms. The rap in three languages, Vietnamese, English and Russian, sent a strong message: “Today we make history together.”
When the final scoreboard appeared, the entire Live Arena exploded. Vietnam scored 422 points, far surpassing Kyrgyzstan (373 points) and Qatar (369 points) to take the championship title.
Intervision 2025 is not only a music playground, but also a cultural forum, where 23 countries bring their own artistic colors, together proving that music is the common language of humanity. Vietnam has shined with a convincing victory, contributing to affirming Vietnamese cultural identity on the international music map.
