Prime Minister appoints leadership personnel for the Ministry of National Defense and the Government Inspectorate

(Dan Tri) - Lieutenant General Le Duc Thai was appointed by the Prime Minister to hold the position of Deputy Minister of National Defense; and Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court Le Quoc Doan was appointed as Permanent Deputy Inspector General of the Government Inspectorate.

On November 4, the Prime Minister issued decisions appointing and reappointing leaders of a number of ministries and agencies.

Accordingly, in Decision No. 2436, the Prime Minister appointed Lieutenant General Le Duc Thai, member of the Party Central Committee and Commander of the Border Guard, to hold the position of Deputy Minister of National Defense .

This morning, Lieutenant General Le Duc Thai was presented with a decision by the President to promote him to the rank of Senior Lieutenant General.

Deputy Minister of National Defense Le Duc Thai was born in 1967, his hometown is Quang Ninh. He has a Bachelor of Border Defense and has worked for many years at the Border Guard of Quang Ninh province. Before becoming Deputy Minister of National Defense, Mr. Thai was Commander of the Border Guard.

Also related to the personnel of the Ministry of National Defense, the Prime Minister has decided to appoint Colonel Nguyen Anh Ngoc, Head of Logistics and Engineering of Military Region 2, to hold the position of Deputy Commander of Military Region 2.

In Decision No. 2435, the Prime Minister decided to accept and appoint Mr. Nguyen Quoc Doan, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court, to hold the position of Permanent Deputy Inspector General of the Government Inspectorate.

Mr. Nguyen Quoc Doan was born in 1975, in Ninh Binh province. He is a member of the 13th Party Central Committee, with a PhD in Law.

He served as Secretary of Lang Son Provincial Party Committee, Judge of the Supreme People's Court and was appointed Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court in 2024.

The Prime Minister also decided to reappoint Mr. Do Thanh Hai to the position of Deputy General Director of Vietnam Television.
