BIDV and WMI cooperate to develop a team of senior customer consultants

(Dan Tri) - Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) and Wealth Management Institute (WMI) signed a strategic cooperation agreement, aiming to develop a consulting team for high-end customers (Private Banker) in the Vietnamese market.

As a domestic bank honored by The Asian Banker with the best Private Banking service for 3 consecutive years, BIDV identifies this strategic cooperation as an important step in the journey to establish international standards for Private Banking services in Vietnam.

Accordingly, BIDV signed a strategic cooperation agreement with WMI to grant BIDV & WMI co-branded certificates to BIDV students.

This event demonstrates BIDV's commitment to improving service quality according to international Private Banking standards. The training program jointly developed by WMI and BIDV is designed based on Singapore's Private Banker competency framework, thereby helping BIDV staff achieve international professional certification, ensuring compliance with strict global standards.

This is an important step in BIDV's Private Banking service development strategy, aiming to become a leading financial institution in Asia by 2030.

BIDV and WMI said the courses will be held in 2025, with well-designed content, focusing on practice, helping BIDV Private Banker team apply to asset care, consulting and management, thereby contributing to bringing customers in Vietnam the opportunity to experience asset management services according to international practices.
