Female doctor was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant General

(Dan Tri) - Associate Professor, Dr., Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Hoang Ngoc, Deputy Director of 108 Central Military Hospital, was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant General of the Vietnam People's Army by the President.

On November 4, General Phan Van Giang, Minister of National Defense , presented the President's decision to promote the rank of Lieutenant General of the Vietnam People's Army to Associate Professor, Doctor, Meritorious Physician (PGS.TS.TTUT) Nguyen Hoang Ngoc, Deputy Director of the 108 Central Military Hospital.

Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Hoang Ngoc is the person directly in charge of the activities of the Party Committee, Party work, and political work of the hospital.

Ms. Nguyen Hoang Ngoc was born in 1967 in Hanoi . In 1989, she graduated as a doctor from the Military Medical Academy.

In 2000-2001, she completed a training course in Internal Medicine in the French Republic and successfully defended her PhD thesis in 2003 at the Military Medical Academy, and was awarded the title of Associate Professor in 2014.

Before holding the position of Deputy Director of 108 Military Central Hospital, she was Director of the hospital's Stroke Center.

In 2022, she was promoted to the rank of Major General.

Currently, Lieutenant General Nguyen Hoang Ngoc is Head of the Department of Internal Neurology, Institute of Clinical Medicine and Pharmacy Research 108, Standing Member of the Hospital's Scientific Council, Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Stroke Association and Vice President of the Hanoi Pain Control Association.

In the field of research and training, she has guided many PhD students, masters, interns and specialist II; participated as chair or member of nearly 100 thesis and dissertation evaluation boards at major medical training institutions such as the Military Medical Academy, Hanoi Medical University, Hue Medical University, and Hanoi University of Pharmacy.

In addition, she also participated in many selection and acceptance councils for state-level topics, the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Health.
