According to statistics up to November 3, 2025, BIC has recorded more than 150 losses, mainly concentrated in motor vehicle insurance and property-technical insurance. The total estimated compensation value is over 40 billion VND.
As soon as weather conditions permitted, BIC quickly deployed compensation appraisal teams to flooded areas to visit, record losses, advise and guide customers on initial handling measures to limit damage. At the same time, BIC also closely coordinated with independent appraisal companies to promptly determine the extent of losses, as a basis for considering advances or timely compensation payments to customers. In many localities, BIC staff overcame all difficulties in traffic, weather and access conditions to be present when floodwaters had not yet completely receded, in order to promptly record damages and support customers in handling compensation procedures.

To ensure the progress of the process, BIC has established a quick response process, assigned staff in charge of each area, and maintained regular contact with customers through all possible communication channels. BIC prioritizes handling serious loss cases that directly affect production and business activities and people's livelihoods. Close coordination with professional appraisal units also helps the damage assessment process to be carried out objectively, fully and in accordance with regulations.
BIC considers timely customer support not only a responsibility but also a commitment to accompany. Prompt payment not only helps customers restore their assets but also strengthens their belief in the role of insurance in life, especially in difficult times due to natural disasters.
BIC is currently continuing to focus on reviewing records and actively coordinating closely with customers to complete payments as soon as possible.
