Deputy Inspector General of the Government holds the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Supreme People's Court

(Dan Tri) - The Standing Committee of the Party Committees of the Central Party agencies appointed Mr. Nguyen Van Quang, Deputy Inspector General of the Government, to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Supreme People's Court for the 2025-2030 term.

On the afternoon of November 4, the Party Committee of the Supreme People's Court announced the Decision of the Standing Committee of the Party Committees of the Central Party agencies on the appointment of members to the Party Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the Party Committee, and Party Secretary of the Supreme People's Court for the 2025-2030 term.

Accordingly, the Standing Committee of the Party Committees of the Central Party agencies appointed Mr. Nguyen Van Quang, Permanent Deputy Inspector General of the Government Inspectorate , to join the Party Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Supreme People's Court for the 2025-2030 term.

Handing over the decision and delivering the assignment speech to Mr. Nguyen Van Quang, Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu requested the new Secretary of the Supreme People's Court Party Committee to continue to promote his experience, capacity, and strengths, and together with the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Court Party Committee, join hands to excellently complete the assigned tasks.

Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu believes that the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Court Party Committee and Mr. Nguyen Van Quang personally will uphold the spirit of responsibility and excellently complete the assigned tasks.

In his acceptance speech, Mr. Nguyen Van Quang respectfully thanked the Politburo , the Secretariat, and the Party Committees of the Central Party agencies for their trust and confidence in assigning him the new task and responsibility of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Supreme People's Court for the 2025-2030 term.

Mr. Nguyen Van Quang also respectfully thanked Mr. Le Minh Tri for his contributions and promised to continue promoting the results, achievements and valuable lessons that the People's Court sector has achieved in recent terms, to build a clean, strong and comprehensive Party Committee of the Supreme People's Court, with sufficient leadership and direction capacity.

At the same time, develop the People's Court sector to meet the requirements of judicial reform, build a socialist rule-of-law state, worthy of the trust of the Party, State and people, and contribute to the country entering an era of national growth.

Mr. Nguyen Van Quang hopes to continue receiving the attention, leadership and direction of the Politburo, the Secretariat, the Party Committees of the Central Party agencies, of General Secretary To Lam and directly of the Standing Secretary of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu for the Court sector in general and the Party Committee of the Supreme People's Court in particular.

Mr. Nguyen Van Quang was born in 1969, from Hai Phong city, has a degree in political theory and a PhD in Law.

Growing up as an officer and investigator of the Criminal Investigation Department, Mr. Nguyen Van Quang has many years of working experience in the prosecution industry.

During his career, he held positions such as: Chief Prosecutor of Le Chan District People's Procuracy, Deputy Chief Prosecutor and then Chief Prosecutor of Hai Phong City People's Procuracy; Head of the Department of Procuracy for handling civil cases (Supreme People's Procuracy).

By June 2015, he was a senior prosecutor and Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Procuracy in Ho Chi Minh City.

After 2 years, Mr. Nguyen Van Quang took on the position of Head of the Department of Prosecution and Investigation of Economic Cases (Supreme People's Procuracy).

In September 2018, he assumed the position of Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Procuracy.

In December 2019, the Secretariat assigned him to join the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, and hold the position of Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee for the 2015-2020 term.

After 1 year, in October 2020, Mr. Nguyen Van Quang was elected as Secretary of the 22nd Da Nang City Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, and held this position until being appointed as Permanent Deputy Inspector General of the Government Inspectorate in September 2025.
