Lieutenant General Le Duc Thai was born in 1967 in Quang Ninh province and holds a Bachelor's degree in Border Guard. He has worked for many years in the Border Guard Force of Quang Ninh province and the Border Guard Command.

Also today, the Prime Minister decided to appoint Colonel Nguyen Anh Ngoc, Head of Logistics and Technical Services of Military Region 2, to the position of Deputy Commander of Military Region 2.
