The National Assembly Standing Committee is about to meet to review personnel work.

The National Assembly Standing Committee will begin its 51st session (November) from the afternoon of November 5 to review and decide on many important issues, including personnel work.

In addition to personnel work, at this session, the National Assembly Standing Committee will also review and comment on the draft laws on National Reserves (amended) and the Law on Artificial Intelligence.

At the same time, the National Assembly Standing Committee will also give opinions on the reception, explanation and revision of the draft laws on Cyber ​​Security; Law on Protection of State Secrets (amended); Law on Amendments and Supplements to a number of articles of the Law on National Defense Industry, Security and Industrial Mobilization; Law on Deposit Insurance (amended); Law on E-Commerce; Law on Construction (amended); Law on High Technology (amended); Law on Amendments and Supplements to a number of articles of the Law on Technology Transfer; Law on Artificial Intelligence.

In addition, there are also draft laws on Amendments and Supplements to a number of articles of the Law on Intellectual Property; Law on Press (amended); Law on Amendments and Supplements to a number of articles of the Law on Education; Law on Higher Education (amended); Law on Vocational Education (amended); Resolution of the National Assembly stipulating specific mechanisms on a number of guidelines and policies in Resolution No. 71 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in education and training development; Resolution on investment policies for the national target program on modernization and improvement of education and training quality for the period 2026 - 2035.

Along with that are the draft laws on Vietnam Civil Aviation (amended); the law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Judicial Records; the Law on Civil Judgment Enforcement (amended); the law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Insurance Business; the law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Statistics; the Law on Personal Income Tax (amended); the Law on Tax Administration (amended); the law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Public Debt Management.

These are the draft laws being discussed and approved by the National Assembly at its ongoing 10th session.

In addition, the National Assembly Standing Committee will also consider and approve the Resolution on the expected allocation of the number, structure, and composition of the 16th National Assembly deputies; and the Ordinance amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Ordinance on Environmental Police.

Comments on draft resolution to remove difficulties in Land Law

Regarding decisions on important issues, the National Assembly Standing Committee will comment on draft Resolutions of the National Assembly stipulating specific mechanisms on a number of guidelines and policies in Resolution No. 71 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in education and training development; Resolutions of the National Assembly stipulating a number of mechanisms and policies to remove difficulties and obstacles in organizing the implementation of the Land Law; Government's submission to the National Assembly on approving the investment policy of the Gia Binh International Airport Construction Investment Project; Government's submission on draft Decree of the Government stipulating the management and use of the state budget for a number of activities of the Communist Party of Vietnam .

Along with that is the investment policy for the national target program on modernization and improvement of education and training quality for the period 2026 - 2035; the investment policy for the national target program on health care, population and development for the period 2026 - 2035; the investment policy for the national target program on new rural areas, sustainable poverty reduction, and socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas by 2030.

In addition, the National Assembly Standing Committee will consider, decide and approve the adjustment of the central budget development investment expenditure estimate for 2025 among ministries, central and local agencies and additional adjustments for school construction in border communes, implementation of tasks and projects to overcome the consequences of natural disasters; Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee amending and supplementing a number of articles of Resolution No. 70 stipulating principles, criteria and norms for allocating public investment capital from the State budget for the period 2026 - 2030.

According to the National Assembly Office, the 51st session of the National Assembly Standing Committee is expected to be divided into 4 sessions. Session 1 will be on the afternoon of November 5 and 6; session 2 will be on the afternoon of November 11 and 17; session 3 will be on the afternoon of November 24 and session 4 will be on November 29.
