Press conference to launch the Miss Vietnam Ethnic Tourism Contest 2025

The Miss Vietnam Ethnic Tourism Contest 2025 was first held with the mission of honoring the beauty of women from 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups. The contest is not only a stage for contestants to affirm their beauty, intelligence and talent, but also a space to spread the message of cultural pride and solidarity among ethnic groups; contributing to preserving and promoting cultural heritage, while promoting the sustainable development of green tourism and community tourism - inevitable trends of the times.

The contest conveys the message: “The beauty of Vietnam is the beauty of 54 ethnic groups; The pride of Vietnam is the everlasting cultural value of 54 flowers of the Vietnamese community”. Through the activities within the framework of the contest, the Organizing Committee aims to find “cultural ambassadors - tourism ambassadors” who possess the elements of truth - goodness - beauty and have the ability to positively inspire the community.

The preliminary and final rounds of the contest are expected to be held in October 2025. The organizing committee will select the 30 best candidates to enter the final night, expected to be held on the evening of November 15, 2025 at Moc Chau Island, Moc Chau Ward, Son La Province and will be broadcast live on the airwaves of Son La Newspaper and Radio, Television and rebroadcast by provincial and municipal television stations across the country.

Representatives of the contest organizing committee and Moc Chau Island tourist area signed a cooperation agreement.

With beautiful natural scenery and tourism infrastructure being completed, Moc Chau National Tourist Area was chosen to host the Miss Vietnam Ethnic Tourism Contest 2025. In particular, Moc Chau Island Tourist Area will be the venue for the final round, final night and main activities of the contest.

Contestants are female Vietnamese citizens from all over the country and overseas Vietnamese living and studying abroad. The Organizing Committee will accept contestants' registration applications from the beginning of July 2025 until September 30, 2025. To date, more than 50 contestants have registered to participate in the contest.
