“Rock Concert – Vietnam’s Heart”: “Burning” revolutionary songs sung in rock style

The program is organized by Netmedia Joint Stock Company and related units, part of a series of events celebrating the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).

The program features the participation of top Vietnamese rock bands such as Buc Tuong, Ngu Cung, Chillies, The Flob, Blue Whales, and guest singers such as Pham Anh Khoa, Pham Thu Ha, Duong Tran Nghia...

At the show, the audience lived in a passionate atmosphere when the famous hits and immortal revolutionary songs were given a new, powerful and liberal look of rock by the artists.

Some of the songs include “Let's go”, “Get up and go”, “Sing forever the military march”, “Red leaves”, “Spring melody”, “The country is full of joy”…

Rock is a powerful, liberal music genre, associated with the spirit of freedom and aspiration. When revolutionary songs are dressed in the spirit of rock, they become a new voice, close and attractive to the young generation.

In addition to familiar musical works such as “Southern Song”, “Youthful Aspiration”, “Vietnamese Homeland”, “My People Sing”, “Continuing the Story of Peace ”… the public can also enjoy rock songs that are widely loved by the public, such as “Sun Avenue”, “White Snow – Red Rhododendron”, “Vietnamese Land – Sunflowers”, “Flying Over the East Sea”, “Nameless Road”, “Drunken Men”, “October”, “Glass Rose”, “Black Eyes”, “Long Trips”, “Road to Glory”…

The program also brought surprises with the combination of the Thanh Am Xanh folk band and rock bands. This intersection not only created a unique and powerful sound, but also affirmed the spirit: Vietnamese folk music can resonate and blend in any stage space, any era, even on a liberal rock background.

Organizing a rock music night - a music genre associated with strength and aspiration, at the Thang Long Imperial Citadel Heritage Site - a cultural space, a symbol of longevity and endurance through many changes of the times, the Organizing Committee wants to convey the message: The spirit of patriotism and national pride is not only preserved in the past, but continues to burn in the breath of today's youth, being inspired, reminded of responsibility and aspiration to contribute in the new era of development of the Vietnamese people.
