Construction begins on charity houses in Dong Tam commune.

On October 26, Dong Tam commune held a groundbreaking ceremony to build a charity house for Mr. Ung Khoan Nang, an elderly person with extremely difficult circumstances in Nam Tuoc village. Attending the ceremony were comrade Tran Quang Minh, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee; representatives of 307 Ha Giang Company Limited, the sponsor; leaders of the Party Committee and commune government; mass organizations and a large number of people.

Comrade Tran Quang Minh and the sponsors presented financial assistance for house construction to the family of Mr. Ung Khoan Nang, Nam Tuoc village, Dong Tam commune.

The house was built through social mobilization efforts, with Comrade Tran Quang Minh directly connecting with and soliciting support from philanthropists. The structure is designed as a level IV house, ensuring "three solid" elements: a solid foundation, solid walls, and a solid roof; with a usable area of ​​nearly 60 m² and a total cost of nearly 100 million VND. Of this, 307 Ha Giang Company Limited contributed 60 million VND, with the remainder contributed by the commune, the family, and the people of Nam Tuoc village in the form of money, materials, and labor.

Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Tran Quang Minh shared his sympathy for the difficult circumstances of Mr. Ung Khoan Nang's family; and at the same time acknowledged and highly appreciated the timely involvement of the Party Committee and the government of Dong Tam commune in implementing the mobilization program and organizing the groundbreaking ceremony for the project.

The comrade expressed his wish that the Party Committee, the local government, and the people of the commune would continue to work together to support the family with labor and materials to complete the house soon, so that Mr. Ung Khoan Nang could have a stable place to live and feel secure, especially in the unpredictable weather conditions of rain and sunshine.
