Groundbreaking ceremony for charity house in Dong Tam commune

On October 26, Dong Tam commune held a groundbreaking ceremony to build a charity house for Mr. Ung Khoan Nang, an elderly person with extremely difficult circumstances in Nam Tuoc village. Attending the ceremony were comrade Tran Quang Minh, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee; representatives of 307 Ha Giang Company Limited, the sponsor; leaders of the Party Committee and commune government; mass organizations and a large number of people.

Comrade Tran Quang Minh and sponsors presented money to support house building for Mr. Ung Khoan Nang's family, Nam Tuoc village, Dong Tam commune.

The house was built from socialized resources by comrade Tran Quang Minh directly connecting and mobilizing benefactors to support. The project was designed according to the structure of a level IV house, ensuring "3 hard": hard foundation, hard wall and hard roof; the usable area is nearly 60 m², the total cost is nearly 100 million VND, of which 307 Ha Giang Company Limited supported 60 million VND, the rest was contributed by the commune, family and people of Nam Tuoc village in money, materials and labor days.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Tran Quang Minh shared and expressed his sympathy for the difficult circumstances of Mr. Ung Khoan Nang's family; at the same time acknowledged and highly appreciated the timely intervention of the Party Committee and the Dong Tam commune government in implementing the mobilization program and organizing the groundbreaking ceremony of the project.

He hopes that the Party Committee, the communal government and the local people will continue to join hands to support the family with working days and materials to soon complete and put the house into use, helping Mr. Ung Khoan Nang have a stable place to live and feel secure, especially in the unpredictable weather conditions.
