Resolutely remove difficulties and speed up site clearance progress for key projects in My Lam ward.

On December 9, comrade Nguyen Manh Tuan, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired a working session with the People's Committee of My Lam Ward on the progress of compensation and site clearance for projects in the ward. Attending the meeting were leaders of a number of relevant departments, branches and units.

Comrade Nguyen Manh Tuan, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, chaired the meeting.

According to the report, key projects in My Lam ward include: the Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang Expressway project (phases 1-2); the project to build a road from My Lam hot spring tourist area to National Highway 2D connecting with the Tuyen Quang - Phu Tho Expressway; projects invested by Vingroup in My Lam ward (public entertainment and resort area within My Lam hot spring tourist area, My Lam ward; My Lam sports complex and golf course project; My Lam - Tuyen Quang resort urban area project); and the project to build a rehabilitation center for war veterans in Tuyen Quang province.

The leaders of My Lam ward reported on the progress of compensation and land clearance for projects in the ward.

Currently, projects are facing many difficulties and obstacles in compensation and land clearance: many households have not agreed with the approved compensation plan; have not agreed to the inventory of assets attached to the land; and there are difficulties in issuing land use right certificates…

At the working session, Mr. Nguyen Manh Tuan, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, chaired the exchange, discussion, analysis and clarification of each difficulty and problem in compensation and site clearance of each project.

The head of the Department of Agriculture and Environment spoke at the meeting.

Concluding the meeting, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Nguyen Manh Tuan, acknowledged the efforts of the locality, the investor, and relevant units in implementing compensation and land clearance for the projects in the past period. However, to definitively resolve the remaining obstacles, he requested My Lam ward to strengthen coordination with relevant departments and units in resolving difficulties of the projects in accordance with the "six clear" principles: "clear person, clear task, clear time, clear responsibility, clear product, clear authority".

The comrade emphasized that land clearance is an extremely important task; if land clearance is carried out effectively, it will contribute to accelerating the progress of investment projects, promoting disbursement, and developing socio-economic activities in the province. He requested that the entire political system be mobilized, that propaganda and persuasion efforts be intensified to ensure that households still facing difficulties agree to the approved compensation plan; and that the land clearance process be expedited, along with the construction of resettlement areas, to provide people with stable housing when they relocate…
