Party-to-Party channel cooperation between Vietnam and India

A delegation from the Communist Magazine, led by Associate Professor, Dr. Le Hai Binh, Alternate Member of the Central Committee of the Party and Editor-in-Chief of the Communist Magazine, visited India from November 21-26.

According to VNA, during their working visit to India, the delegation laid wreaths at the Ho Chi Minh Monument in New Delhi; visited the headquarters of the Communist Party of India (CPI) and the Communist Party of India Marxist (CPI-M); held discussions with CPI and CPI-M leaders; and visited the Vietnamese Embassy in India.

During the meetings, the parties informed each other about the situation of their respective parties; exchanged views on the cooperative relationship between the Communist Party of Vietnam and the CPI and CPI-M, as well as some measures to further strengthen and promote relations between the two sides in the future, especially in the field of political theory and propaganda cooperation. Comrade Le Hai Binh shared the long-standing and positive friendship that the Party, State, and people of Vietnam have for the country and people of India and the members of the CPI and CPI-M.

Highly appreciating the role and position of the CPI and CPI-M in India, Comrade Le Hai Binh expressed his hope that the relationship between the Communist Party of Vietnam and the two parties would become increasingly strong, with enhanced coordination and mutual support at political party forums; and that the exchange of information, experience, and cooperation in political theory and propaganda would be promoted for the development of each country.

The CPI and CPI-M parties affirmed that they highly value the traditional friendship and good cooperation with the Communist Party of Vietnam; they highly appreciate the achievements Vietnam has made in recent years under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, especially the achievements in poverty reduction and social security policies... which have made important contributions to enhancing the country's national strength and international standing.
